Sanad — Provider App

Sanad is a smart service platform designed to help service providers manage their daily work and business operations — from receiving and completing jobs to managing services, earnings, availability, and performance. As the Product Designer, I worked from the initial client brief and translated the requirements into a complete provider experience, taking the product from early UX thinking through information architecture, user flows, wireframes, design iterations, design system, and final UI. The goal was to create a provider experience that feels clear, fast, and easy to control, while supporting two sides of the provider's work: daily operations and business management.

Business Goal

Service providers need to manage multiple parts of their work, from incoming requests and active jobs to services, schedules, earnings, and documents. Without a clear structure, important actions can become difficult to find and daily workflows can feel fragmented. The experience needed to balance fast, high-frequency job actions with broader business-management needs.

Problem

User data showed that 55% of new users churned before Day 4 of the free trial. Interviews revealed the home screen felt chaotic -too many options, unclear first action, and no immediate sense of progress. The app was powerful but intimidating.

Research

  • Translated the client brief into clear product requirements and provider needs.

  • Defined two key provider contexts: independent service providers and service business/team managers.

  • Used personas, empathy mapping, user stories, journey mapping, task flows, and user flows to understand the provider workflow.

  • Identified key UX priorities around speed, clarity, control, visibility, and reducing information overload.

Solution

  • Designed a mobile Provider App centered around five primary destinations: Home, Jobs, Earnings, Services, and More.

  • Created a clear request-to-completion flow covering new requests, decision-making, active jobs, completion, and follow-up.

  • Added dedicated service-management experiences allowing providers to manage and add their services.

  • Designed supporting experiences for earnings, scheduling, documents, ratings, notifications, emergency mode, and support.

  • Built a reusable design system using DM Serif Display, Poppins, #18443D, and #CEFF0C, with consistent components, states, spacing, and UI patterns.

Business growth

Created a scalable provider experience that supports both daily service operations and long-term business management. Making services, jobs, earnings, and performance easier to manage can help providers stay organized as their activity grows. The modular structure also creates a foundation that can scale across different provider types and future product features.
